People think there’s a big studio. There’s a desk. A very messy desk, between my dermatology books and a disco ball (yes, a real one).
How it happens
I never went to art school, not even one class. So there is no “right way” in my head, only the way it feels. I visit a place, I sit there way too long, and I wait for the feeling.
Then I draw it the way I remember it, not the way it is. That’s why my Byblos is a little pinker than your Byblos. Sorry, not sorry.
The part nobody sees
Every color and every detail goes from my head to the paper, and I never deliver a piece that doesn’t match exactly what I imagined. Sometimes that takes three days. Sometimes three months.
Drawn by a real artist, always. No AI, no stock, no shortcuts. That’s the whole point.
