The heritage house that got a second life
30 July 2026
If you ever wondered where the house in my logo comes from… it’s not one house. But this one comes very close.
Three arches on the façade, the triple arcade our grandparents’ houses all had. A black and white checkered floor inside that made me gasp out loud (embarrassing, there were people). And a garden with crooked pine trees that look exactly like the ones I draw.
Second life
It was almost gone. Cracked walls, no roof on one side. Now it hosts exhibitions, little concerts, and a café in the garden. Someone saved it, slowly, with a lot of love and probably a lot of money, and I’m forever grateful.
Why it matters
Because a house like this is a memory you can walk into. That’s literally what I try to do on paper. Here someone did it with stone.
Go see it at sunset. The arches turn pink. I’m not exaggerating, I promise.
