✦Her story

An artist before she ever drew.

(and a doctor by day, don't ask how she sleeps)

Not because I was born drawing, but because I've always seen the world differently. To me, being an artist isn't about holding a pencil. It's about having taste.

As a kid I'd spend hours thrifting clothes, not because they were cheap, but because they were different. I'd rather wear something with a story than something expensive. I became obsessed with choosing: furniture, colors, objects, cafés, restaurants, buildings, streets.

“Choosing beautifully is its own form of creation.”

It all started because I needed a side business to finish medical school. I never went to art school, not even one class. I was never put on a defined path, and that's what helped me the most: if I don't know what's right, I can do whatever I feel like. No limitations, no judgement, no doubting.

My posters aren't exact illustrations of Lebanon. They're memories, emotions, and imagined places inspired by real ones. And I don't want to stop at posters. Furniture, interiors, objects, fashion… whatever lets me bring beautiful ideas into the world.

“People often ask why I stay. Because this country made me.”

It gave me my career in dermatology. It gave Retrospaces its first audience. It gave me a community that understands beauty, craftsmanship, nostalgia and detail in a way that's hard to explain. I've traveled, and I love discovering new places. But every trip reminds me of the same thing: I can't wait to come home.

✦ Anatomy of a logo

Everything I love, in one little house.

  • Purpose (the deeper why)

To build a world of dreams and share it with everyone who was ever secluded from it.

  • Vision (the world we want)

To become the world’s trusted curator of human-made beauty, knowing what deserves to be seen, and turning it into somewhere you never want to leave.

  • Mission (what we do)

To create what we love in our own whimsical, dreamy, colorful way, and to keep expanding into a whole universe.

✦ Good to know

Frames, shipping & other questions.

Is it really drawn by hand?

Every single piece. Drawn by a real artist, from real places and real memory. No AI, no stock, no shortcuts.

Do you ship abroad?

Yes, everywhere Lebanese people ended up (so, everywhere). Prints travel rolled in tubes, framed pieces in very hugged boxes.

Framed or print only?

Both. Choose a frame in Black, White, Cherry, Pine, Walnut or Oak, or take the print and frame it your way.

Can you help me choose for my wall?

Send us your space and we’ll suggest the right pieces. A space deserves the right art. All or nothing.
