A letter from the artist

Dear you,

I was always meant to be an artist. Not because I was born drawing, but because I've always seen the world differently.

As a kid I'd spend hours thrifting clothes, not because they were cheap, but because they were different. I became obsessed with choosing: furniture, colors, cafés, buildings, streets.

I never went to art school, not even one class. So I don't know what's "right", which means I can do whatever I feel like. No limitations, no judgement, no doubting.

I'm a doctor by day. Saving people's lives is nice… but letting myself indulge in a world of dreams is even more exciting.

Every trip reminds me of the same thing: I can't wait to come home.

with all my heart,
the girl behind Retrospaces ♥
